Final Band Rehearsal 2010

So today was our last band practice as group C at Unitec. I think it went especially well : ) Although we had some initial difficulty with Chocolate Panda & the Turtle, I think it is going to sound just fine next Tuesday, and I look forward to hearing Colin and Daniel join in with background vocals!

I was surprised at how awesome we are at Unforeseen Time! If you haven't heard this song before, I recommend you look forward to hearing next week like I am.

I am also happy with Can't Even Play Harmonica To Good Blues. It sounds great now that everyone remembers the structure (or so I hope!). I'm going to try to play a face melting harp solo but no promises.

C'mon Gurl (Girl?), maybe I'm confused because I thought I saw Thomas spell it that way on the board...O well. It sounded a bit funny to me today, but I don't know if anyone else thought so. I was playing my harp into a fan so I had automagic vibrato, but my hair got caught so I backed away.

Stay always sounds "epic" (in the words of Hannah).

Butterflies, Blades and Blackness is back on its feet now but I thought my bass playing was a bit messy today...

Anyway, I am sorry to have distracted everyone today with my compulsive photo-taking, so I thought I'd better share the images with you : )
